“Vinges terminalas” successfully implemented the project funded by the European Regional Development Fund. On February 2011 “Vinges terminalas” successfully completed implementation of the project “Business process of warehouse and logistics services optimization JSC “Vinges Terminalas”, funded by The European Regional Development Fund Project under the implement “E-business LT” of 2007 – 2013 Lithuania Economic growth operation priority 2 “Increasing of business productivity and improving of business environment”. Project amount – 231884,00 LTL of which 50 percent invested by the company itself. By this project, JSC “Vinges terminalas” ensured high service quality and maximized effectiveness of logistics services to their clients (both foreign and Lithuanian), implementing logistics processes management from order receiving to implementation. E-business solutions (warehouse management system, additional modules, on-line client self-service web portal, data exchange system; business management system) let JSC “Vinges terminalas” to increase operational efficiency and competitiveness.
„Vinges Logistics Group“ invested in training of employees 140 thousand LTL. “Vinges logistics group” is successfully implementing employees’ development project funded by EU. Within two year of the project “General trainings of logistics center specialists” there was spent almost 690 thousand Litas of which almost 140 thousand Litas was invested by “Vinges Logistics Group”. Project goals are implementation of training that helps employees to gain new knowledge and skills which will help them to reach a career and position ourselves as professional employee, also the company will ensure successful growth, improvement of service quality. All planned trainings are almost completed in this moment. Various positions of employees participated in seminars and workshops, company trained more people than expected – until second quarter of 2008 year, 153 employees of “Vinges Logistics Group” gained new skills and competences, raised their qualification. Gained new knowledge will be directly used in the implementation of the company’s development plans, improving of service quality, accelerating processes. Employees’ development project is partly funded by the European Union, the European Social Fund and supported by Republic of Lithuania.
